Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and maintains our equipment and buildings through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of service.

Responsibilities:

• Produce products that are safe, legal, and with excellent quality
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems
• Maintain controls, values, and calibrations to make sure everything is functioning properly
• Make emergency repairs when necessary to off-set excessive down time and production delays
• Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and correct equipment failures
• Troubleshoot plant electrical issues and maintain all plant electrical equipment.
• AC and DC troubleshooting skills are a must
• Use instructions or manuals on installations, systems layout, and changeovers to complete project work
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc.

Qualifications:

· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• Minimum 2-years previous mechanical experience, including preventative repair in an industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Offer will be contingent upon completion of drug screen and background check.

Pay is based on experience and skill level. Pay includes a shift differential of $1.50 for nights.
